Often times clients need to change something that they know in their herat of heart isn’t helping achieve their health goal. This can be challenging when feelings + emotions are attached to food choices.
Its a conversation I have during more initial sessions with clients. We seek out other non-health-harming ways to obtain that feeling. Create new connections with food.
This is where we get to experiment with new whole food recipes, explore super-foods, fermented foods, and herbs. We start seeing food as a path to healing vs. the enemy.
No sustained change comes from a place of deprivation. It’s WHY restrictive diets don’t work! My clients have success with making lasting changes with food choices because they FEEL + SEE the shift from deprivation to abundance.
